    • Ensure that employees are aware of changes and projects within the company.

    • Develop and distribute material that explain and convey the company’s policies or position on issues. This includes but not limited to press releases, interviews and press kits.

Creative Hub

  • Briefing Creative Team of projects
  • Daily review of all briefs/artwork
  • Management of deadlines and project planner to ensure timeous delivery of projects
  • Communicating desired needs and wants for each project

Internal Marketing Interaction

  • Meet bi-monthly with business unit to review and plan projects ahead
  • Understand brand-specific marketing and communication strategies

Project Management

  • Managing expectations of individual business units’ Marketing requests
  • Maintain relationship and open communication with each brand


  • Compiling annual Business Plan defining the overall Marketing Strategy for the new financial year
  • Quarterly reports on financials, projects, staff, challenges & solutions
  • Prepare/compile Quarterly Review report for the department

Marketing Budget

  • Work with the financial director in budgeting for the new financial year
  • Managing, review and reporting on Budget

Corporate Identity Management

  • Oversee development and maintenance of corporate branding for all brands
  • Guide all designers in creation of collateral to ensure CI is adhered to and evolves

Travel Guide

  • Work together with Travel Guide project manager on the creation of Travel Guides for SA, Regions & Product across all Inbound Business Units
  • Proof read and edit Supplier content
  • Rewrite brochure content with ‘fresh’ copy. I.e: itineraries, introductions, etc.


  • Brainstorming and Conceptualisation
  • Involved in the process of creating the correct marketing tool for the campaigns
  • Work closely with Graphic Designers
  • Marketing the campaigns to the correct market and client base


  • Work closely with Graphic Designers
  • Identification of SEO keywords
  • Update and refresh copy if and when required
  • Ensure latest information is available on website
  • Ensure CI is adhered to
  • Ensure that TDM details are published on all other company websites

Print Collateral

  • Updating of print collateral
  • Work closely with Graphic Designers
  • Oversee costings
  • Responsible for controls over marketing print collateral
  • Order additional stock as collateral runs out


  • Organising internal and Head Office events


  • Overseeing all arrangements for Indaba
  • Managing the details for the exhibition Stand – conceptualisation, sign off on design, overseeing stand builder and designer
  • Arranging all payments
  • Registration and name badges
  • Managing reception and the stand at Indaba
  • Manage the driver and vehicles at Indaba
  • Management of payments and budgets
  • Oversee accommodation – ensure bookings are in order
  • Oversee transport – booking of vehicles / transfers and supplying flight details
  • Conceptualisation of annual Soiree and theme
  • Sourcing suppliers, quotes and décor
  • Venue management
  • Pre-planning, on-site management
  • Budgeting, invoicing and recons
  • Ensuring collateral is created and delivered in time for the event and in line with the theme e.g. menus, awards, presentation etc.
  • Compilation of a Master Operating Schedule for set-up, the actual event and strike

B2C Product

  • Identify viable B2C products and relevant distribution channels for deployment
  • Implement a viable strategy and roll out of the product
  • Advertise and drive sales accordingly
  • Monitor ROI

Competitor Analysis

  • Identify what competitors are doing in the market place and how to differentiate ourselves better in terms of marketing specifically
  • Develop USP’s based on the above


  • A Marketing or Communications qualification


  • 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Experience in Event Management an advantage but not essential


  • Proficiency in MS Office and in the required social media platforms
  • Copywriting skills will be an advantage


The salary for this position is competitive and depending on relevant experience.
