Description
As part of our ongoing workforce planning, we are developing an internal Talent Pool Database to support our current and future operational needs in Nairobi and Mombasa. This initiative is aimed at identifying qualified, high-potential, service-oriented employees who are interested in career growth and future opportunities within the organization.

DRIVER GUIDE
The Driver Guide will play a vital role in delivering exceptional safari and travel experiences by safely transporting guests and providing informative guiding services across Kenya’s key tourism destinations, including national parks, game reserves, and cultural sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company tour vehicles in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies, as well as executing itinerary movements accurately as per vehicle movement order and provided booking schedules.
- Lead engaging safaris, excursions, and transfers while providing insightful commentary on wildlife, geography, history, and local culture to ensure optimum guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with international clients and provide translation support where necessary.
- Ensure guests are properly briefed on itineraries and points of interest before and during travel, and coordinate issuance of safari itineraries, feedback forms, and other relevant information to clients.
- Coordinate pick-ups, transfers, and logistical arrangements according to operational schedules, as well as coordinating the distribution of welcome notes to hotels, lodges, camps, and other destinations for issuance to the company clients.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips and ensure the vehicle and essential tools are in optimal condition, as well as maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure adherence to branded uniform standards.
- Submit detailed and timely tour reports and communicate any operational issues or emergencies promptly to management while complying fully with client-specific service standards and requirements.
- Deliver outstanding guest service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the travel experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Driver Guide / Tour Guiding certification from a recognized institution.
- Fluency in English plus any of the following foreign languages preferred i.e., French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch & Italian.
- Valid TSV driving license with a minimum of five (5) years’ tour driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Kenya’s tourism destinations, wildlife, and culture as well as the ability to deliver exceptional safari and excursion experiences.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, with a professional appearance, reliability, and ability to work independently.
- First aid knowledge and ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
- The ability to ensure safety, vehicle readiness, punctuality, and compliance with guiding standards.

Qualifications and Expertise

- Driver Guide / Tour Guiding certification from a recognized institution.
