Description
As part of our ongoing workforce planning, we are developing an internal Talent Pool Database to support our current and future operational needs in Nairobi and Mombasa. This initiative is aimed at identifying qualified, high-potential, service-oriented employees who are interested in career growth and future opportunities within the organization.

The purpose of the talent pool is to enable timely access to pre-qualified internal candidates, allowing for faster engagement and interviews when roles become available.

PRODUCT ASSISTANT
This role is key to developing, updating, and maintaining accurate tour products and rate information for agents. The role plays a critical part in ensuring all product information is current, correctly costed, and shared in line with company standards to support reservations and sales operations.
Responsibilities
- Compile and update tour programs for different agents using company-standard formats.
- Accurately populate costing sheets, ensuring correct contract rates and approved margins are applied per agent.
- Prepare rate comparison tables across seasons and years to support pricing decisions.
- Deliver product updates within agreed timelines while maintaining close attention to detail.
- Support the continuous improvement of tour products and itineraries.
- Liaise with agents to provide accurate, complete, and timely product information.
- Ensure clear understanding of agent-specific products, formats, and margins.
- Maintain proper filing and sharing of product documentation with internal teams.
- Work collaboratively within the team and carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Relevant degree-level education in Tour Operations or a related field preferred or or higher national diploma, in the same field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within East Africa.
- Strong product and destination knowledge.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- ICT proficient; Tourplan knowledge is an added advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills are an added advantage.
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
