Description

As part of our ongoing workforce planning, we are developing an internal Talent Pool Database to support our current and future operational needs in Nairobi and Mombasa. This initiative is aimed at identifying qualified, high-potential, service-oriented employees who are interested in career growth and future opportunities within the organization.

TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR

Role Overview
The role provides full administrative, operational, and compliance oversight of the Transport Department, ensuring efficient fleet utilization, service reliability, and alignment with operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage last-minute operational changes and service demands
  • Maintain discipline, performance, and conduct standards
  • Ensure accurate Trans-log verification, safari charts, mileage, and fuel monitoring
  • Enforce compliance with SOPs, safety, contracts, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports for the management
  • Manage guest or driver complaints, feedback forms, and service monitoring
  • Maintain accurate transport records, driver files, and compliance documentation
  • Support accident reporting, insurance follow-ups, and risk escalation as well as recommending continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives for the transport department
  • Support regional transport strategies and cost-efficiency projects

 

Coordinate driver duty allocation and the other operations staff, rosters, scheduling, and fleet deployment

Qualifications and Expertise

    • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in transport administration & fleet operations
    • Strong MS Excel and MS Office proficiency
    • Excellent planning, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills
    • Strong relationship management and communication skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
